Approaching fitness by way of dance, I became a personal trainer to improve the lives of others that felt truest to me; through movement.
When I am not exercising or dancing around, I participate in local LA mutual aid networks, tell stupid jokes, ride my bike, create tiny clay sculptures, hug and text my loved ones, and daydream about aquaponic gardening with my pet fish.
Working with dancers and performers gave me access to a community that helped me feel like myself and at home in my body.
Personal training and exercise is a way of extending that community by supporting and empowering people.
